We're making some changes to our BeerDrops

An update on Build A Case

It’s now a few months since we launched #BuildACase. We’re chuffed to bits with how it has gone so far. We’ve also learned a lot.

After listening to feedback from you lovely folks, we think it’s time for a few small tweaks, primarily to how our BeerDrop service works. The fundamentals are staying the same. You’ll still be able to add and reserve the freshest beer in our warehouse using social media. You can also continue to reserve beers for up to 30 days.

So, what are we changing?

First off, BeerDrops will be moving solely to Instagram. So if you want to be the first to hear about our new beer releases, and order them using social media, you know where to go. We’ll still use Twitter and emails to keep you updated as and when new beers arrive, but they will direct you to our website where you can add beers to your case.

Secondly, we feel our Instagram account has got a bit salesy (is that even a word?). We love beer with a story behind it, and we want this to be reflected in our BeerDrops too. So expect to see more content about why we love the beers and breweries we feature each week.

Finally, with freshness in mind, there will no longer be a set time and day for BeerDrops. We want to be able to get beers to your door in as little time as possible from them arriving in our warehouse. We’ll make sure to keep you updated as to when you can expect to see new beers landing on Instagram. So, keep your eyes peeled.

Build A Case and BeerDrop were an e-commerce first. As with any worthwhile innovation, you can’t expect to get everything right the first time, right?!

Our next drop will be this evening, see you there.
