Matt | 14 Nov 2017
UPDATE: Moz joined the team!
We’re looking for someone to join our small, talented, passionate team and lead the development of our website, associated microsites and IT infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in helping us become the leading independent online retailer of beer in the UK.
We’re looking for an all-rounder with experience in front and back-end development. We’re quite open-minded and flexible about your experience and preferences with specific technologies. Your problem-solving, curiosity and conscientiousness are far more important to us. If that doesn’t prove how much autonomy you’ll have, nothing will. However, you will tick almost all of the boxes below...
have a strong understanding of e-commerce solutions and best practice.
have an understanding of content management systems, databases and SQL.
have a minimum of three years experience in a web development role.
have project management experience.
be able to see into the future of the internet.
be able to make complex stuff sound simple.
be able to get passionate about craft beer.
like dogs enough to share an office with two of them.
like cats enough to listen to Gemma talk about hers.
have a track record of getting stuff done.
be a thoroughly good egg.
The role is based at BeerBods HQ (an old pig farm just outside Pershore, Worcestershire) at least three days a week. We’ve thought about this carefully. It’s non-negotiable. It’s a wonderful part of the world an hour north of Bristol and an hour south of Birmingham.
Salary. £30k (ish) depending on experience.
No agencies, please. Seriously, no agencies.
