Tynt Meadow by Mount Saint Bernard Abbey
English Trappist Ale, 7.4%
After producing milk for 183 years, low milk prices meant the monks of Mount Saint Bernard Abbey in Leicestershire needed a new avenue to fund their historic abbey. After gaining permission from the Pope they moved into brewing. The first Trappist beer ever to be brewed in the UK, this strong dark ale is full-bodied, gently balancing the taste of dark chocolate, pepper, and fig. It leaves a warm and dry finish on the palate. Winner of BeerBods beer of the year 2018 and an absolute must try.
